Life saving equipment donated to Lloydminster fire department in memory of fallen brother

A Lloydminster firefighter who lost his battle with ALS in December was honoured through dedication ceremony at Boundary Ford. Billy Cornfoot was a Boundary mechanic for over 30 years and also a fellow brother firefighter to the Lloydminster Fire department. Fire Chief Todd Gustavson tells Goat News, Billy was a firefighter for 26 years and it was an honour to receive the life saving equipment and remember him in such a great way. And Boundary Ford General manager Joe Holland says his staff really came together to raise money for the 10 thousand dollar Jaws of Life to help the fire department in saving lives. The event was held in honour of Billy’s birthday on Tuesday.
