City Hall announces plans for 39 Street repairs

City Hall has announced street repairs for 39 Street between 60 and 70 Avenue.

Starting Tuesday, August 4, the city will be working on concrete, asphalt, and line painting on the street. To help facilitate the work, the city says they are removing the speed tables temporarily.

The city says that after the repairs are done they will conduct consultations with residents along the traffic calming route before reinstalling the speed tables permanently.

The city also says that once street repairs are finished, they will build curb bump-outs on 65 Avenue north of 36 Street, at the intersection of 66 Avenue and 39 Street, and on 39 Street in front of Holy Rosary High School.
