The City of Lloydminster is starting construction on an intersection at the west end of the city, on Tuesday, August 4.
Work on the intersection of 44 Street and 80 Avenue is set to start, to facilitate phases 2 and 3 of construction of the Brentwood Developments commercial centre, just west of Home Depot.
The city says they will be installing new concrete barriers, new traffic lights, regrading and paving the asphalt surface, and line painting.
Temporary lane closures will be set up during the construction. The city asks that all motorists obey temporary signage, and allow extra time for travel. All businesses in the city will be accessible during construction.
The city says the work will be finished Saturday, August 22, weather permitting.
