34-year-old Amanda Michayluk from Maidstone was found dead by a search party says RCMP. Michayluk went missing after looking for help once she and her dad’s vehicle got stuck in the snow.
After an investigation, RCMP believes Michayluk attempted to walk home during a snowstorm on an unmaintained road and got lost. The 34-year-old was found 4 km from where she was last seen walking near a farmer’s field. Police say she had died from exposure to hypothermia, no foul play is suspected.
