A man who has taught the likes of Chuck Norris, Bruce Lee and the Karate Kid’s Pat Morita the fine art of karate will be in Lloydminster this weekend. It is the 29th annual Demura festival taking place at the Servus Sports Centre where 350 students come to the border city to learn from the best. Lloydminster Karate Club instructor Cam Stewart tells Goat News Fumio Demura was the stunt double for Morita in the Karate Kid movies, and at 76, still travels the world to teach everything he knows. The public is invited to attend the seminar starting at 10 on Saturday morning.
