Bobcats sign first player of 2019-2020 season

The Lloydminster Bobcats takes action towards the future of the organization with a new signing. The hockey team announced last week that forward Jared Miller of Crossfield, Alberta is close to donning a Bobcats uniform after signing a letter of intent for the 2019-2020 season.

In a press release, Director of Player Personnel Andrew Gilbert says Miller exemplifies the qualities they’re looking for in their players.

“He plays a fast-paced game and is committed to the details of the game we highly value as an organization. Jared is a big piece of our team moving forward and we eagerly anticipate his development on and off the ice.”

Miller is currently playing for the Edge Hockey Academy of Calgary where he has racked up 6 goals and 8 assists in 24 games.  He also suited up for two Bobcats games as an affiliate player recording his first AJHL goal on December 16th vs Okotoks.

The organization says with the first letter signed, more announcements are to be expected as the new Bobcats management look to implement a “very structured plan”.
