Lloydminster Tennis Association set to host Paul Douglas Classic

The Lloydminster Tennis Association is gearing up for their biggest tournament of the year.

This weekend, the association will be hosting the 24th Annual Paul Douglas Classic, named after one of the association’s founding members.

Leonel Aguinaldo, the association’s Director of Communications, says the invitational attracts players from both provinces.

“This is a tournament sanctioned by Saskatchewan Tennis,” Aguinaldo said. “We send invitations to players from affiliate organizations through Saskatchewan Tennis, and yearly we get players all the way from Saskatoon, and North Battleford, and some parts of Alberta.”
