North Battleford RCMP continues their efforts on crime reduction in Saskatchewan with a recent slew of arrests.

The detachment says the recent Crime Reduction deployment, with the partnership of Onion Lake RCMP, led to multiple arrests between February 6th to 10th. The Crime Reduction Team executed 19 warrants, including 7 arrests and a total of 33 charges laid during the 4 day period.

Prior to each stationing of the task force, officers gather information and develop a list of priority targets with input from the local detachment. The team is made up of members specializing in enforcement and investigative skills. The unit focuses on taking drugs, firearms and criminals off the streets of  Saskatchewan communities.
