Vermilion RCMP members have charged a man with multiple counts of indecent communications.
On March 15, Mounties received a complaint of indecent communications via text messages from an unknown person. A second complaint was received on March 16 showing the same phone number was responsible. The investigation revealed several other victims who had not reported to the police.
Police have charged 31-year-old Jim Douglas Wilson of Mannville, Alta. with 5 counts of indecent communications and 2 counts of breach of probation. Wilson has appeared before a Justice of the Peace and remains in custody. He will appear next in Vermilion Provincial Court on Monday, April 1.
