North Battleford RCMP arrest two teens for attempted robbery

Two teens face charges after attempting to rob a business in North Battleford.

The RCMP say that early in the morning of Tuesday, August 25, an 18 year-old man and a 16-year-old boy entered a business in the 1700 block of 100 Street and tried to leave with “a small amount of items”. They were stopped by an employee who recovered the property, but was injured as the teens forced their way out of the business.

The RCMP found the suspects half an hour later, and arrested them. They both face charges of Robbery, and the 16-year-old faces additional charges of Assaulting a Police Officer, and three counts of Failure to Comply with Conditions.
