Cold Lake is going to be getting a taste of Hollywood next month. A feature film is set to be filmed in the northern Alberta city from April 30 until May 19.
Filming is expected to cause occasional road closures and temporarily close various public and private locations. The city apologizes in advance and says they are working with producers to ensure they can film safely and efficiently in the right locations. The city asks the public to respect the film crew’s work.
Any closures of public space or facilities expected to have a significant impact on the public will be advertised on the city’s website and social media channels, and in print media, if time allows. There is an opportunity for the public to participate as extras. Arrangements can be made by those interested by contacting the producer of the film, Chris Cowden, at [email protected].
