One man dead after collision with semi, says Battlefords RCMP

The Battlefords RCMP have released details about a collision this past weekend. At about 3:30 a.m. on April 13, Mounties responded to a collision involving a semi and a pedestrian. The 34-year-old male from Saulteaux First Nation was pronounced dead on scene and his name will not be released.
The collision was on Highway 4 north near the Saulteaux First Nation. The highway was closed to traffic for about 6 hours while police conducted their investigation. RCMP traffic reconstruction, as well as the forensic investigation section, were involved. No charges have been laid and the investigation is on-going with the assistance of the coroner’s office.
