Local high school football players have been selected for Alberta’s North Senior Bowl All-Star Team. This past weekend at Foote Field in Edmonton, 150 graduating grade 12 athletes took part in North Selection Camp, and 42 players were selected. Quarterbacks include Dante Tabacu of Lloydminster. Runningbacks include Nash Etson and Nathan Zacharias from Lloydminster, and Dayton Gibb from Wainwright.
Lloydminster’s Cullen Wagner is on the team’s offensive line, while the team’s defensive line features Dominic Cayco and Grayson Christie, both from Lloydminster. The team’s linebackers include Evan Eide of Lloydminster. They will compete against the South on the Monday of the May Long Weekend at Hellard Field in Calgary. The South team was selected the previous weekend in Calgary.
