The R.M. of Frenchman Butte has lifted its fire ban. The municipality made the announcement this morning stating burning permits are still required for large burns such as brush piles. A permit application can be received at the towns office.
Fire bans/restrictions currently issued:
- R.M. of Britannia
- R.M. of North BattlefordÂ
- County of Minburn
- County of Two Hills
- County of Vermilion RiverÂ
- City of North Battleford
Some rural and urban municipalities are prohibiting open fires including campfires and will not issue any new burning permits. Each area will differ in restrictions. Most communities that have lifted fire bans still require burning permits.
