Lloydminster drug trafficker sentenced to prison

Lloydminster RCMP have announced the conviction of a drug trafficker.

The police say that on Monday, August 31, Ian Bialowas was sentenced to 4.5 years of jail time for drug trafficking. Bialowas was found guilty of dealing cocaine, methamphetamine, and fentanyl.

Bialowas was convicted on four counts of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking, possession of a loaded prohibited weapon, and one count of failing to comply.

The RCMP say that the convictions come after months of investigation and search warrants.
