Lloydminster Bobcats sign international talent Mason Hendrickson

The Lloydminster Bobcats has signed former Minnesota High School Hockey League forward Mason Hendrickson. Last season the six foot tall forward had 19 assists and 24 points with Minnetonka High School.

The team announced the signing earlier this week saying Hendrickson is a reliable two way forward who has showcased is I.Q and ability to create offence on the ice. Hendrickson grew up high-level hockey, as his dad is a former NHL player and current Assistant coach for the Minnesota Wild.

“Mason is coming from a great high school program that has produced many NCAA Division 1 calibre players in the last few years. With that, we know Mason had great coaching and been surrounded by a winning culture. We hope he can come into his own with the Bobcats and also contribute to our desired culture,” says Bobcats director of US Scouting Cory Lonke.

The Lloydminster Bobcats home opener will be on September 14 against the Sherwood Park Crusaders.
