Lloydminster’s hometown boy and NHL hockey star Scott Hartnell is in Lloydminster this week to attend the Hartnell MacArthur Holtby Appreciation and Recognition Dinner at the Stockade. The dinner is a way to say thanks to everyone involved in the celebrity golf classic held in Lloydminster each year. Hartnell says the tournament is taking a hiatus for now, but doesn’t rule out bringing it back in the future. Hartnell tells Goat News it was great to bring his hockey pals to Lloydminster and introduce them to his hometown. Hartnell will also be signing copies of his book on Wednesday at the Multiplex from 3:30 until 5 p.m.
