The Lloydminster and District Co-op is celebrating an important milestone. The association is celebrating 100 years in business and had a special celebration at the store yesterday with many local citizens taking part. Co-Op CEO Don Stephenson tells Goat News, the Co-op would be nothing without it’s members. And Stephenson credits the staff for helping those members to keep coming back. The Co-op lived through 2 world wars, an economic depression, a fire and other natural disasters, and Stephenson says the future looks bright. The Co-Op is currently over 16 thousand members strong- the highest in Co-op’s history.
