New announcement to be be made by Boundary Ford, Health Foundation

An event announcement is set to be made on Monday, July 29, by the Lloydminster Region Health Foundation and Boundary Ford. The announcement follows the immediate sell-out last month of Boundary Fords “Boundary Battle of Alberta”.

In a statement, the LRHF and Boundary Ford say they couldn’t wait to spring into action and bring an additional event to the city. Steven Cassidy, marketing manager of Boundary Ford, hints that the announcement will be another big moment for the Border City.

“We are very proud to be part of such a great community event and we look forward to announcing another event with the Lloydminster Region Health Foundation,” says Cassidy. “We had to do something more, the opportunity was definitely there.”

The July 9 announcement of Boundary Battle of Alberta, an alumni Oilers/Flames game, saw more than 1,500 tickets sold in less than 7 hours. This immediate sell-out led to a nearly $40,000 in proceeds going directly to Project Sunrise thanks to the sponsorship of Boundary Ford.

The sold-out game is taking place on September 28, at 3:00 p.m. and both Boundary Ford and the Health Foundation look forward to an exciting afternoon. Malcolm Radke, CEO of the Lloydminster Region Health Foundation, is grateful for the ways Boundary Ford has supported the LRHF’s initiatives.

“We are beyond honoured to have the support we do. Not only did Boundary Ford come to us with one event where they fully sponsored and it sold out but they want to bring another event in,” says Radke. “Boundary Ford and their team have been very supportive through this process and we cannot wait to announce another great event to the community. We’ve already raised nearly $40,000 in proceeds for mental health through Project Sunrise but here is another opportunity to raise even more and be able to do even more for our community.”

The public is welcome to join for the announcement on Monday, July 29 at 10:30 a.m. at Boundary Ford. The Lloydminster Region Health Foundation is always accepting donations towards many projects. Anyone looking to help can visit its website.
