RCMP investigate early morning shots fired at a Battleford home

RCMP are currently in the midst of an investigation after shots were fired at a Battleford home in the early morning on July 31. Police say officers responded to a complaint of shots being fired near a home on the 400 block of 33rd Street in the Town of Battleford.

During an investigation, officers noticed damage in the home due to a small calibre firearm. No one was injured during the incident. RCMP says a dark coloured truck was seen leaving the area at a high speed and is believed to be involved in the firearm discharge.

The investigation is ongoing and RCMP is requesting anyone with information related to the incident to contact Battlefords RCMP or  Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
