Lloydminster Chamber of Commerce to host two all-candidates forums

Lloydminster’s Chamber of Commerce is hosting two all-candidates forums on Wednesday, October 7.

Candidates from both the Lakeland and Battlefords-Lloydminster ridings will be meeting at the Civic Centre to showcase their platforms and debate each other in the hopes of winning votes in the federal election.

The candidates who will be attending from the Battlefords-Lloydminster riding are incumbent MP Gerry Ritz of the Conservative Party, Glenn Tait of the NDP, Larry Ingram of the Liberal Party, and independent candidate Doug Anguish.

The candidates who will be in attendance from the Lakeland riding are Shannon Stubbs of the Conservative Party, Duane Zaraska of the NDP, Garry Parenteau of the Liberal Party, and Robert McFadzean of the Libertarian Party.

The moderator of both forums will be Glenda Elkow.

The Battlefords-Lloydminster candidates will speak at 6:30, while the Lakeland candidates will speak at 8:30.
