Toy Run had over 190 registered motorbikes

Warm and dry weather was welcomed after last years unpleasant weather during the Bordertown HOG Toy Run. Murray Getty, Director of Bordertown HOG Chapter, said the day was amazing and it was heart-warming to help Lloydminster and area kids.

“We had a great turn out on Saturday, weather cooperated. We exceed our 70,000 dollars for the day, and we also meet and exceeded our 500,000 dollar goal for the nine year history of the Toy Run.”

Motorbikes drove Highway 16 for the ninth annual Bordertown HOG hosted the Toy Run on Saturday, September 14.

“We were over 190 registered participants for the run on Saturday, so we were very close to 200,” Getty says.

Donations will be made to Big Brothers Big Sisters, Ronald McDonald House Charity in Edmonton and Saskatoon, and the Goats Christmas Wish.
