UPDATE: The RCMP have arrested the man with the help of the Emergency Response Team. They are reporting no injuries were sustained during the incident.

Elk Point RCMP are searching for a man involved with shots being fired in the early morning.
Shortly after 1 a.m. on October 1, officers were called to a complaint of a man with a gun at a house on 49 Street. Shots were fired in the area and no injuries have been reported.
St. Paul GIS, Police Dog Services and Emergency Response Team are assisting Elk Point RCMP as they search for the suspect in Elk Point.
RCMP advise not to post police locations on social media. Updates on the situation will be provided as new information becomes available.
