Local voters will have a chance to get their ballots in just over a week before the federal election. Advanced polling begins this Friday for those who already know who they’re voting for or will be unavailable on October 21.
Information on advanced polling stations around the area can be found on the back of the voter information card sent in the mail. It can also be looked up online through Elections Canada.
Advance polling will run until Monday, October 14th.
Both the Lakeland (Alberta) and Battlefords-Lloydminster (Saskatchewan) ridings will learn who their Member of Parliament is on October 21st.
