Rosemarie Falk projected to retain her spot for Battlefords-Lloydminster

Rosemarie Falk is expected to retain her spot for MP for Battlefords-Lloydminster.

As of Monday evening, the Conservative candidate had 19,669 votes out of 24,148. The NDP candidate, Marcella Pederson, possibly has 2,319 votes.

Falk says she will continue her priorities as usual when Parliament resumes.

“I’m going to continue to do what I was doing, what I was so blessed to do in the previous parliament.  After the 2017 bi-election, and that is to continue to advocate, listen to what the constitutes have to say, whats important to them and make sure they have a voice at the table.  A voice for tax payers, families and rural communities.”

In the next couple of days, Falk says she will be collecting her signs, making sure her volunteers are thanked and appreciated for the work they do.

“I think it went really well, I had a lot of volunteers that came out who wanted to make a difference, wanted to be part of the whole electoral process and it was great to see how many people actually wanted to come out an do that.”

Falk says it feels great to be able to go back to Ottawa and represent the people of Battlefords-Lloydminster.

Federally, the Liberals have unofficially been re-elected, but with a minority government this election.
