Battlefords RCMP charge four in traffic stop

Battlefords RCMP is charging four people in connection to a firearm being found during a vehicle pullover.

At around 10 p.m. on October 25, Battlefords RCMP Street Enforcement Team located a suspicious vehicle in the 1100 block of 105th Street in North Battleford.

Police pulled the vehicle over and saw a firearm while speaking to the people inside. Backup was called and 105th Street was shut down for a short period of time. Three men and three women were arrested.

Nathan Bugler, 38, was charged with possession, unsafe storage of a firearm. Camille Starchief, 35, was charged with obstruction, identity fraud and possession of a firearm. Marie Wuttunee, 29, was charged with failure to comply and possession of ammunition while prohibited. Dennis Starchief, 38, was charged with possession of cocaine, meth and a firearm.

The other two were released without charges. The four will be facing charges in court on November 4.
