Turtleford RCMP says a man has been arrested in the death of 57-year-old Roger Standingwater in 2018. The victim was found in critical condition at a Thunderchild First Nation home later passing away.
The detachment called in help from the major crimes unit, North Battleford General Investigation and forensics to assist in want they called a suspicious death.
RCMP Major Crime Unit Investigators arrested 44-year-old Ivor Wapass in relation to Standingwater’s death on November 1st. Wapass faces one count of second-degree murder and will appear in North Battleford Provincial Court on November 4th.
