Environment Canada is cautioning Border City residents as freezing rain is on its way. A line of freezing rain is moving eastward from Fort Saskatchewan to Fort McMurray and is expected to hit Lloydminster and Cold Lake this evening and end overnight.

Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become icy and slippery. Environment Canada says to slow down while driving in slippery conditions, watch for taillights ahead and maintain a safe following distance.
