Lloydminster ringing in the New Year with several celebrations

The Bea Fisher Foundation will be kicking off the new year in a big way. The centre will be hosting their first of three New Year’s Eve fundraising party.

“It’s to help raise awareness and help improve the lives of many individuals that we’re very privileged to work with here,” says Marketing and Business Development Coordinator Kim Crockett.

This is the foundation’s biggest fundraiser of the year and is New York themed with one of the prizes draws being a trip for two to New York City.

“We think we’ve set the bar to go after in years two and three but the whole goal over the three years is to raise between $250,000 to $300,000 towards the improvements of our care homes here in Lloydminster.”
