Lloydminster residents with real Christmas trees will soon be able to dispose of them easily.
Starting January 8, the city will be picking up trees as part of their curbside collections. The city asks residents to take off any tinsel and decorations before putting them out on the curb. Trees will have to be out on the curb before 7 a.m. on their collection day.
They will be picking up trees on January 8, 9, 10, 13 and 14. Residents can also drop off their undecorated trees at the landfill from January 2 to 19.
