Several people were arrested after Battlefords RCMP received a complaint of two men standing outside a home with a long-barrelled gun.

At around 10 p.m. on January 15, police were called to the 1800 block of Trudeau Street when two men were spotted outside a home with the weapon.

When Mounties arrived at the scene, no one was found and they determined no shots were fired and there were no injuries.

An investigation led officers to another residence where they arrested several suspects. RCMP believe this was not a random incident. Charges and further arrests are pending.
