Meadow Lake RCMP are investigating after two men have been found dead.
In the morning of Thursday, November 5, the police responded to a shots fired complaint at a home in Meadow Lake. When they arrived, the RCMP found two men dead outside of the home.
The RCMP have called in the Major Crimes North division to assist in the investigation, and say there is no risk to public safety.
Details are limited, and updates will be provided as the RCMP releases them.
UPDATE: The RCMP say that the two men involved were 70 and 73 years old, and that they both died of gunshot wounds. They also say that the investigation suggests was likely a murder/suicide. An autopsy for the 70-year-old has been scheduled for Monday, November 9.
