Environment Canada is notifying Lloydminster and area residents of snow expecting to hit the area today.
About 10 to 20 cm is expected to drop as a Pacific weather system moves through southern Alberta tonight and tapers off Saturday night.
They say people should look out for bad weather conditions on the road and take safety precautions before heading out.
