SHA implements visitor restrictions at all health facilities

The Saskatchewan Health Authority is implementing restrictions for visitors at all SHA operated hospitals, clinics, community and continuing care facilities in an effort to minimize the spread of COVID-19.

Patients who are in critical care or high acuity units in hospitals, visitors will be restricted to one at a time.

All community, foundation and other public and spiritual gatherings within any SHA-operated facility are on hold effective immediately until further notice. Faith based organizations are no longer exempt from the public gathering restrictions of over 250 people in one room.

Services provided by community volunteers who are 65 years of age or older have been suspended. Non-essential volunteer services are determined by each individual facility.
