A Bonnyville man has been arrested after crashing into a school bus.
In the morning of Friday, November 13, the RCMP say they were called to the scene of a crash at Secondary Highway 660 and Range Road 455, where a pickup truck had t-boned a school bus. The police say the driver of the truck turned left unsafely at the intersection and accelerated dangerously before losing control and hitting the bus. The driver of the bus and a passenger received minor injuries in the crash, and the RCMP say the driver of the pickup truck was impaired.
The 22-year-old faces multiple charges, including impaired driving, impaired driving with a blood alcohol content above 0.08, and dangerous driving. He will appear in court on December 1.
