COVID-19 cases now at 10 in Central Saskatchewan

The Saskatchewan Government says cases of COVID-19 are now at 10 in the central zone.

In their Sunday, March 29th update the province says the area that houses Lloydminster and many surrounding towns has seen two people recover from the disease and no more intensive care cases.

Across Saskatchewan, the cases are now up by 22, reaching 156 confirmed cases. Health authorities are still advising people who have attended a March 14th snowmobile rally in Christopher Lake to call Healthlink 8-1-1. Approximately 130 people were at the dinner, and 76 have been reached to date, with 20 cases linked to this event.

To date, 9,086 COVID-19 tests have been performed in Saskatchewan.
