Fourteen recoveries, two new cases of COVID in Saskatchewan

Saskatchewan has had another day of more COVID-19 recoveries than new cases.

Across the province 14 more people have recovered, bringing the total to 178. Active cases now sit at 118 of 300 that have been reported since the coronavirus came to Saskatchewan. There are also eight people in hospital, all of whom are receiving inpatient care. None of them are in the ICU.

In the North Zone, which houses Lloydminster and area, there are 15 active cases, 40 recoveries and one person receiving inpatient care.

The province is also reminding residents that in order to keep flattening the curve, residents who need to leave their homes should stay home if they’re sick- even with mild symptoms.

To date, 19,804 COVID-19 tests have been performed across Saskatchewan, with 18,700 negative results.
