One person has been arrested after driving into a playground in North Battleford causing extensive damage.

Battleford RCMP responded to a call at a school playground in the 1300 block of 110th Street at 2 a.m. on April 16. Mounties say the empty vehicle was still on the scene when they arrived and found evidence that the occupants were injured in the collision.

RCMP found several people with non-life threatening injuries at the address of the registered owner. One person was arrested with further arrests and charges pending as the investigation is still ongoing. Mounties say alcohol was a factor.
