The MD of Wainwright has closed its campsites and recreational facilities until further notice.
The Riverdale Mini-Park, Arm Lake Recreation Area, Fabyan campsite, Ambler campsite, Ribstone campsite and Salt Lake have all been closed.
The MD says they will be monitoring the situation every two weeks and release an update accordingly. Anyone with questions is asked to call the office at 780-842-4454.
Both Parks Canada and Alberta Parks announced earlier this month that they would be suspending reservations at all national and provincial camping sites.
