Battlefords RCMP is investigating two North Battleford break-ins that they believe are connected.
Around 10:30 pm on April 22nd, police were called to the first break-in at a business in the 11000 block of Railway Avenue. One person had allegedly broken the side door, proceeded to pry open a safe and steal several guns. The suspect then fled the scene in a white Ford F-150.
Just over fifteen minutes later, the RCMP was called to another attempted break-in, this time on the 9000 block of Territorial Drive. This time, the man allegedly breaking in was caught by a security guard and fled the scene.
He is described as around 5’7′ with dark hair, wearing a checkered shirt, dark pants and carrying a backpack. The investigation is ongoing, and police believe these incidents may be related.
