216 new COVID-19 cases in Alberta, one new in the Central zone

Another 216 new COVID-19 cases have been reported across Alberta, bringing the provincial total to 4,696. Province-wide, 1,664 people have recovered.

Two more COVID-19 related deaths have been recorded in the Calgary zone. There have been 75 deaths in Alberta.

In the AHS Central zone, one new case has been found since Sunday, bringing the total number of cases up to 84.

The situation in the Lloydminster region remains the same with one recovery in the city, one recovery and one active case in the County of Vermilion River and one active case in the MD of Wainwright.

Since testing began, over 135,000 have been processed throughout the province.
