Fire ban season has begun in the RM of Wilton.
As of April 30th, a partial fire ban is in effect in the town. While personal fires are allowed, all burn permits have been revoked at this time. No new permits will be issued as well.
The RM is also taking the time to thank local residents and the Manitou Fire & Rescue, who assisted in putting out a grassfire on Wednesday evening.
