25 Recoveries, one new COVID-19 case reported in Saskatchewan

The Saskatchewan Health Authority is reporting twenty-five recoveries and just one new COVID-19 case in the last twenty-four hours.

The new case, located in Saskatoon, brings active numbers to 152 out of 591 reported. Recoveries are now at 433 province-wide, which is 73% of all reported cases. In the North Zone, there are 13 active cases and 92 recoveries.

There are also eight people in hospital, one in the north and two each in Regina and Saskatoon. Three people are in the ICU, all in Saskatoon.

An investigation has also concluded that an active case admitted to the Pasqua Hospital in Regina does not warrant an outbreak. Health precautions are still in place and testing has found no other positive cases among staff, patients or close contacts.

In total, 40,097 COVID-19 tests have been performed province-wide.
