Saskatchewan reports no new COVID-19 cases in last 24 hours

The Saskatchewan Health Authority’s latest numbers indicate eleven recoveries and no new COVID-19 cases confirmed in the last day.

These numbers bring the total active cases to 131 out of 492 reported. Total recoveries are now at 455, or just over 75% of all cases in the province. In the north zone, there are eleven active cases and 94 recoveries.

Five people remain in hospital, two receiving inpatient care, one in Saskatoon and one in Regina. Three are in the ICU, all in Saskatoon.

Of the 592 cases in the province,  139 cases are travel-related,, 321 are community transmissions,  69 have no known exposures and 63 are under investigation by local public health.

Testing numbers show that in Saskatchewan 41,159 COVID-19 tests have been performed since the outbreak began.
