RCMP are investigating after finding a missing man who they suspect was murdered.
On May 16th, police received a call about a dead man found in the backyard of a home on the 1500 block of North Battleford’s 105th Street. It has been determined that the victim was 20-year-old Damian Moosomin, who had been reported missing May 11th, 2020.
The investigation is ongoing with the help of the Saskatchewan Major Crime Unit. An autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday, May 19th.
Investigators believe there may be witnesses who have crucial evidence as to what happened to Moosomin. Anyone with any information is asked to contact the RCMP or CrimeStoppers to remain anonymous.
