New Saskatchewan health cards on the way

Saskatchewan Healthcard holders should expect new stickers in the mail.

The health card, which entitles people to provincial healthcare coverage, is set to expire at the end of the year. The updated stickers will provide continued coverage until December 31st, 2023. The province estimates that they will send out renewal packages to 685,000 people.

The province adds that anyone who hasn’t received a renewal package by July must get in contact with eHealth Saskatchewan as soon as possible. The most common reason someone wouldn’t receive information on renewing their health card is that they haven’t updated their address. People who’ve moved recently are encouraged to check if their address is up to date on the eHealth website.

The Government is also reassuring people that they are maintaining COVID-19 safety precautions for both the production and send-out of the renewal stickers.
