Two new COVID-19 cases, three more recoveries; North Zone numbers remain the same

The latest Saskatchewan Health Authority numbers show two new cases in the last day.

As of May 24th, both cases were confirmed in the Far North. There have also been three more recoveries. In total, there are 87 active cases of 632 reported. Recoveries are now at 538, or 85 per cent of all reported cases. In the North Zone, there are five active cases and 103 recoveries.

Five people remain in hospital, two receiving inpatient care in the North and Regina and three in Saskatoon ICUs.

Of the 632 cases in the province, 141 cases are travel-related, 357 are community transmissions,  76 have no known exposure and  58 are under investigation by local public health.
To date, 43,862 COVID-19 tests have been performed in the province.
