COVID-19 outbreak warning lifted at Lloydminster Hospital

The Saskatchewan Health Authority has ended the outbreak warning at the Lloydminster Hospital.

As of May 30th, there have been no new cases of COVID-19 that had the potential to transmit in the Lloydminster Hospital. Now that the hospital is passed the 28-day monitoring period without new cases, Medical Health Officer for the North Zone Dr.Mandiangu Nsungu has declared the outbreak as over.

There are still visitor restrictions in effect for Lloydminster Hospital, as they are for all Saskatchewan health facilities.

The SHA is still strongly encouraging people to follow guidelines for handwashing, social distancing and self-isolating to reduce the spread of COVID-19 and protect the most at-risk populations.
