Saskatchewan COVID-19 cases drop to lowest number since end of March

The latest Saskatchewan Health Authority update shows the lowest number of active COVID-19 cases since March 22nd.

As of May 30th, there have been four more confirmed cases and ten recoveries, bringing active totals to 55 of 645 reported. Recoveries are now at 580 province-wide, or just under 90 per cent of all cases.

Three of the new cases are in the Far North, the other one in Regina. In the North Zone, numbers remain at five active and 105 recovered.

Hospitalization numbers have also fallen, down to three. Two patients are receiving inpatient care in Regina and Saskatoon, while one is still in ICU in Saskatoon.

To date, 47,114 COVID-19 tests have been performed in the province.

UPDATE: The Saskatchewan Government has provided a correction. Active COVID-19 cases are actually at their lowest since March 22nd.
