Vermilion RCMP lay harassment charge

Vermilion RCMP have laid a criminal harassment charge against a 32-year-old Mannville man.

On June 3rd, police received a report of a suspect allegedly making unwanted contact with an underaged girl.

A search warrant was executed the next day by Vermilion and Kitscoty RCMP at a home in Mannville, where one man was arrested.

Jim Douglas Wilson is facing charges of alleged criminal harassment, breach of conditions, breach of probation and one count of having a weapon contrary to a release order.

Wilson is in police custody and will appear in Vermilion Provincial Court on June 15,2020.
